Steps needed to create custom object on Salesforce
Opportunities
- Login to Salesforce with your admin credentials and click on the Setup icon (gear icon) on the top right of the screen and click on Setup from the drop down. Click on the Objects and Fields menu on the left sub-navigation.
- Click on Object Manager and on the Object manager screen, in the quick find window, type Opportunity and click on the first tab, Opportunity to add custom objects.
- On the Object manager page, click on the Fields & Relationships tab on the left sub-navigation. Click on New to create a new custom object.
- On the New custom field page,
Step 1: Choose the field type
Under Data type scroll down and select Text and click on Next to continue. - Step 2: Enter the details
a. Field label - Pronto Signature
b. Length - 255
c. Field name - Auto populates once the field label is entered
Click on Next to continue adding the custom object. - Step 3. Establish field-level security
Select the profiles to which you want to grant edit access to this field via field-level security and click Next. - Step 4. Add to page layouts
Click on Save & New to save the new custom object and to create a new object called Partner. - Once you click on Save & New you will see Step 1: Choose the field type. Select Text and follow the same steps as above.
- On Step 2: Enter the details
a. Field label - Partner
b. Length - 255
c. Field name - Auto populates once the field label is entered
Click on Next to continue adding the custom object. - Follow the same steps as above from Step 6 and Step 7 and you will be to able to complete adding the custom object Partner.

- Contacts
- Accounts
- Campaigns
- Leads
- Product
