How-To: Create a domain address from email for Datasets

STEPS TO CREATE DOMAINS FROM EMAILS:

1. Select the data that you want to split and highlight the entire column
   
   
   
   
2. Go to the Data tab and click on the "Text to Columns" button
   
   
   
   
3. Leave the "Delimited" radio button selected, click Next to continue.
   
   
   
   
4. Select the "Other:" check box, enter the the @ symbol in the white text field, Click Next to continue.
   
   
   
   
5. Click on the first column and select the "Do no import column (skip)" radio button.
   
   
   
   
6. Click the next column with domains names and chose the "General" radio button.
   
   For {Destination:} Chose an empty column name in  your excel sheet. In our example we change the value from $E$1 to $F$1.
   
   Click the [Finish] button
   
   
   
   
7. Make sure your newly created column has the column header name with "website" if you are using to import dataset.
