Drift Chatbot Integration for Marketplace

This article outlines a series of steps to do the following: 

Get Javascript code from Drift app

Update Marketplace configuration to enable Drift chatbot

Pre-requisite

• Pronto Account
• Drift Account
• Marketplace enabled on Pronto tenant

Steps to get Java script from the Drift app

1. Login to to your Drift account. Click on Settings on the bottom left of the screen and click on Drift Widget under App Settings as seen in the screenshot below.
   
   
   
   
2. Under the Drift Widget settings, click on Javascript under the Install section to view the Javascript code. Click on Copy code to copy code to clipboard. 
   
   
   
   
3. Enable the Drift Widget icon visibility and Save the changes.
   
   

Update Marketplace configuration to enable Drift chatbot

1. Login to Pronto and access your Marketplace configuration.
   
   
   
   
2. Click on the Marketplace card.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on Solution configuration. 
   
   
   
   
4. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see "Embed Javascript". Toggle the switch and you will see the field to paste the Javascript code.
   
   
   
   
5. Paste the code copied from the Drift application and click on Update.
   
   
   
   
6. The page updates and navigates back to the Marketplace configuration page. Click on the Marketplace card again and click on the Refresh button to the top right of the page.
   
   
   
   
7. Click on Update once the Refresh is successful and access your Marketplace to see the Drift chatbot help icon on the Marketplace. 
   
   Note: Refresh the page if you are unable to see the chat icon on the Marketplace.
