How to create a new customer account on Pronto?
Add a new customer account
Login into Pronto and select the Relationship in which you would like to Add a Customer Account.
Once the Dashboard page loads, click on the Customers tab on the left sub-navigation.
Once the Customer page loads, click on the Add account tab on the top right of the screen.
On the Add account window, Provide the Account name, select the Account type* and the Account owner(s) associated with the customer account. Account type*
New - A New account is a brand new customer that you are pursuing. If you select New, you will notice the Account of dropdown field from which you can select the name of the company who is pursuing this customer account.
Common - A Common account is a customer account that is common to both your company and that of the participant companies in the relationship.
You can select one ore more Account owner(s) from the list. If the desired account owner does not exist, provide the email address of the account owner and click on the "Add as new" link. If you are aware of who the Account owner is from your partners' company, you can add multiple account owners here.
Once you provide all the details, click on the Save and continue button to add the Customer account to the relationship.
You will now be navigated to the account details page.
Should you wish to provide additional details such as Industry, Annual revenue, Employees, Address details and Website you can do so by clicking on the Edit link.
Once all the needed information is entered, click on the Save button to save the customer account details.
After saving the details, if you scroll down the page, you can add comments (notes) related to the Customer account, Add tasks and Create opportunity associated to this account.
To add a task click the Add task button under the Tasks section and enter the details to create a task for follow up. You can also attach any files associated
To create an Opportunity, click the Add opportunity button. You will be redirected to create new opportunity in the Sales-Opportunity page. Enter the opportunity details and click on Save.
