Zoho - Integration with Pronto

This article outlines a series of steps to do the following: 

1) How to create a "Connected App" in Zoho?
2) Authenticate Pronto with Connected App credentials 
3) Mapping Zoho Objects to Pronto Objects

Create Pronto as a “Connected App” in Zoho

1. Login to Zoho API Console with your Zoho admin credentials:- https://api-console.zoho.in/ for creating a "Connected App".
   
   
   
   
2. Once you login, click on the "Get Started" button to build an Application.
   
   
   
   
3. On the API Console page, click on the Server-based Applications card to create an App to communicate with Pronto. 
   
   
   
   
4. On the Create New Client page, enter the Client Name, Homepage URL and the Authorized Redirect URLs and click on Create. 
   
   
   
   
5. On the next page, you will see the Client ID and the Client Secret. This is required for the next configuration step.
   
   

Authenticate Pronto with Connected App credentials 

1. Login to Pronto with your admin credentials and click on the Settings button in the main navigation. 
   
   
   
   
2. On the settings page, click on the Integrations in the sub-navigation. 
   
   
   
   
3. On the integrations page toggle the switch to enable and configure Zoho integration. 
   
   
   
   
4. Click on Configure to authorize the Pronto application to connect with the Zoho application.
   
   
   
   
5. Once you click on Configure, you will see the Authorize page. Enter the Client Application name and the Client ID and Client Secret and click on Authorize. 
   
   
   
   
6. Once you click on Authorize, you will see a pop-up window, requesting permission. Click on Accept.
   
   
   
   
7. Once you click on Allow, Pronto application will be authorized to access Zoho.
   
   
   
   
8. Now you will be able to successfully map the required objects from Salesforce to Pronto.

Mapping Zoho Objects to Pronto

NOTE: System fields represent Pronto’s fields. 

1. Login into Pronto and navigate to Settings -> Integrations -> Zoho. Click on View details.
   
   
   
   
2. Retrieve your organization’s Product information from Zoho. Click on Save & fetch. This will fetch all the values that match the Zoho field “Product Active” into Pronto.
   
   
   
   
3. Map your Customer Account objects from Zoho to Pronto’s objects.
   
   
   
   
4. Map your Marketing Campaign objects from Zoho to Pronto’s objects. In addition, you can map Campaign Status and Campaign Type.
   
   
   
   
5. Map your Sales Opportunity objects from Zoho to Pronto’s objects.
