This article outlines a series of steps to do the following:
Import an existing excel Lead data file to Pronto.
- Go to the Ecosystem module and choose a Relationship to which you want to Import Leads.
- Once the Dashboard page loads, click on the Marketing tab within the selected Relationship on the left sub-navigation.
- On the Campaigns screen click on Leads on the sub-navigation under Marketing.
- Click on the Add Lead(s) tab on the top right corner of the screen and select Report from the drop-down menu to upload a report.
- Select the desired .xlsx or .csv file from your local system and click next.
- Once you click on Next, you will see a pop-up window which automatically* maps the system fields to the report that is being uploaded. Map the remaining Mandatory fields and the other fields that you want to populate.
*Pronto uses state of the art AI and ML algorithms and other necessary coded intelligence to discover, learn and auto map your spreadsheet headers to Pronto fields. The experience of uploading further reports becomes more intuitive and seamless as the system constantly learns and enriches based on the past data uploaded.
Make sure the Source Record ID* is mapped to the Lead which you want to be updated and not duplicated.
*Source Record ID can be Lead First name, Lead Last name, Lead ID, Company name or a specific ID from the excel sheet
If you uploaded a weekly or a bi-weekly report previously and if you are uploading the report again with the new edited or added data, make sure the Source Record ID* is mapped to the Opportunity which you want to be updated and not create a duplicate entry.
Note: Please note the mandatory fields required denoted by * - You will now be navigated to the Import accounts screen where you can import only some accounts from the list of accounts or select all the accounts to import. You will see a message to the bottom left of the page “Fields have been mapped successfully” and “Leads have been fetched successfully”.
- On the Import Leads page, select all the contacts you want to import and click on the Add to Leads tab to the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Once you click on Add to Leads, on the next step, you will see a pop-window to associate all the Leads to an existing Campaign. If you wish to do so, click on the drop down and select the campaign and Save, else click on Skip association to just import the lead report.
- The Leads will be uploaded and you will see a message “Data updated successfully” and “Leads have been added successfully” to the bottom left of the screen.
- After you map the excel sheet, on the Import leads page, you can set a filter condition to filter data from your source file before importing it into Pronto.
a) Set "AND" condition(s)
--> To set the filter, select the Set "AND" condition(s) option on the top right of the screen.
--> Provide the desired filter condition and click on Fetch data to filter the data in your source file.
b) Set "OR" condition(s)
--> To set the filter, select the Set "OR" condition(s) option on the top right of the screen.
--> Provide the desired filter condition and click on Fetch data to filter the data in your source file.
